This is Elodie Rose, born this past summer to my husband and me. Elodie means "foreign riches" and in our hearts is translated to "treasure from heaven." Rose comes from my maiden name DeRosa, which in Italian means "The Rose" essentially. It was hard to part ways legally from my last name but am happy to pass down a bit of heritage to this girl.
